Great place! Will definitely be going back, had one of the best chile rellenos I've ever had. Waitress was very attentive, brought food out right away and was quick with the coronas.

5 Stars! Food was !sabroso! Service was great. A little pricey for my budget, but what isn't these days? Our server was excellent.

The menu items were very flavorful, especially the salsa. Both the beef and the cheese enchiladas were excellent. Even the chips were tick yet crispy, perfect for dipping. The restaurant was spotless clean and the staff was every pleasant.

Just driving through on a road trip. Sunday after Christmas at 10:30 AM I called in a to go order right before we pulled into the restaurant for 1 chicken fajita taco and 1 bacon egg potato pico. Absolutely fabulous. They had it ready within 5 minutes. This place was packed and we will definitely be back every time we are in the area now and plan on sitting down and eating. They do not short you on ingredients! So impressed.

The food and service here are pretty great. This place is usually busy but of course there is a reason for that its good. Parking can be difficult especially on weekends. Food comes out pretty quick and taste fresh. I had Migas a la Mexicana with cheese. I did substitute for hash browns instead of cubed potatoes. Lot of food as you can see from the pictures. I would recommend this place if your looking for a good meal to fill you up. If this helped you please give it a thumbs up or like.

First time to this Mexican restaurant. The food was very good and the atmosphere was nice. The service was exceptional. Pricing was satisfactory. I would recommend this restaurant to others. I took my daughter here to eat dinner because it was recommended by a friend and is close. We were so hungry that we devoured our food before I could take a photo!

Very good food and very amazing service. Have been coming here for years, since they have first opened. My boyfriend and I now live in Houston, but we continue to miss the food that El Portal offers and come here every time we come down. We can’t get anything like it out there. 10/10 recommend to anyone who is craving authentic mexican food!
